Obedience judges

Pirkko Bellaoui

Pirkko is an experienced and dedicated SPKL obedience judge and dog enthusiast. She has been working as an obedience instructor and judge for many years, evaluating at selection trials for the national team and international competitions. She has also served as the team leader for the Finnish Obedience National Team.

Pirkko is also the obedience coordinator for the Helsinki Region Kennel Club, organizing a variety of obedience training sessions throughout the year. She is a highly positive and encouraging judge.

In addition to obedience, Pirkko is also interested in rally obedience, and her family includes the bearded collies, Arran and Waude.

Pernilla Tallberg

Pernilla is a respected and versatile SPKL obedience judge as well as a passionate dog enthusiast. She has a strong background as both a competitor and a judge, having competed with her dogs and judged obedience trials both in Finland and internationally.

Pernilla is known for her positive and constructive evaluation style, as well as her ability to create an inspiring and motivating atmosphere for competitors.

In her free time, Pernilla actively trains and competes in obedience, rally obedience, and agility with her Belgian Shepherds, Sally and Rosen, as well as her German Shepherd, Helga.

Satu Kokko

Satu is a passionate and sharp-eyed SPKL obedience judge, whose extensive background as a competitor adds depth and perspective to her judging. She has competed successfully in obedience for many years and uses her vast experience to evaluate competitors – always with precision, but in an encouraging manner.

Satu is known for her clear and fair judging style, as well as her ability to recognize competitors’ strengths and potential. Her background as a competitor gives her a unique understanding of how dog-handler teams work, even from behind the judge’s table.

In her free time, Satu is actively involved in obedience training with her own dogs and is a well-regarded instructor, sharing her expertise with Finnish obedience enthusiasts. Satu’s four-legged family members are two border collies, Mini and Loiste.

We are thrilled to have Satu complete our judging panel. If there are many competitors, Satu will also step in to judge!
